The symbols in these plaques represent Bruce Lee's personal journey of self-cultivation. Specifically designed by Bruce Lee, the original plaques hung in his Jun Fan Gung Fu Institute in Los Angeles. The meaning behind each symbol is explained in the video below...we encourage you to watch!
About the Plaques:
These exclusive wooden reproductions of Bruce Lee's original Stages of Cultivation Plaques are handcrafted and indvidually painted to look and feel very much like the originals. Included with each set of plaques will be a copy of the letter that Bruce Lee wrote to his good friend, George Lee (who built the original plaques) which detailed Bruce Lee's instructions, design and meaning behind each plaque.
Each Stages of Cultivation Plaque measures approximately 14 1/4 inches x 14 1/4 inches (36 cm x 36 cm) and weighs almost 4 lbs (1.75 kgs).

TanyaJanuary 18, 2022I finely received the Bruce Lee Plagues, they are absolutely amazing and have so much meaning behind them. My husband and I have both had strong connections to Bruce Lee. As kids growing up, watching his movies, as adults my husband followed his Martial Art style and I named my children middle names Lee. The connection to the symbol even today is used in the outrigger club we started, in respect to Bruce Lee. After I unwrapped the plagues we sat and watched Bruce’s only interview, followed by Brandon Lee’s interview in Australia. I highly recommend owning one of these sets if you like us are a Bruce Lee fan.

Alex Arruda da CunhaSeptember 7, 2021After all, who WAS Bruce Lee? Bruce Lee did not "WAS", he "IS" one of the greatest philosophers of the 20th century. Despite not having written anything formally (Socrates never wrote anything either!) his thoughts and actions in general are capable of producing teachings and reflections of indescribable value. There should be a subject in children's schools called "Be Water", or "Bruce Lee's Philosophy of Evolution". The plates (beautiful, perfect, shiny!!) sum up part of this thought in images, and having them on the wall has several meanings. For me it is, above all, an HONOR and a MEMORY of the one who IS the greatest popular modern thinker (pop idol) of the 20th century. (PS: If Bruce Lee ever wanted to be more famous than Steve McQueen, he must be laughing now.....)

Daniel DistelApril 3, 2021Plaques are outstanding. I enjoy Being Water, so forgive me if I get this wrong, but the plaque for “Emptiness” is “Being Water”. Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless - like water. I hope I got that right. Correct me. A beautiful display. If unable to tell by pictures, these plaques are not smooth like a picture. They have raised letters and symbols. Perfectly done.
