This means its great as a step-down board but equally an amazing travel companion when you can't take your whole quiver. With volume spread equally through the nose middle and tail you can get into waves early and float past sections to make the most of those mushier summer beach breaks. However, when the waves do turn on and you find your self staring down the line of a glassy head high wave, the technical backend really steps into action.
