We are SO excited to share with you the beginning of our collaboration with Kareem Abdul Jabbar. Bruce Lee and Kareem were good friends as well as teacher and student. Back in those days, Kareem was a student at UCLA who sought out Bruce to train in martial arts. Both being intellectuals and socially conscious human beings, Bruce and Kareem hit it off immediately. Kareem used to babysit Brandon Lee sometimes! And, of course, as you know, Bruce also asked him to join the cast of Game of Death for that iconic pagoda sequence. These two amazing champions shared laughs, lessons and discourse on a world class level. Though they couldn’t have been more diverse looking on the outside, on the inside they were family. We are excited to come together with Kareem during Bruce Lee's 80th year to showcase their friendship and bond for all of you. Enjoy!
