Jun Fan Gung Fu translates to Bruce Lee’s Gung Fu. The Jun Fan Gung Fu Institute, Bruce’s first martial arts school, was opened in the 1960s in Seattle, WA where Bruce first placed his roots in the US after returning from Hong Kong. He worked at the legendary Ruby Chows, and attended the University of Washington (majoring in philosophy) prior to opening his school. Bruce would go on to open two more schools on the West Coast (Oakland & Los Angeles) passionately teaching students from all backgrounds his martial way (an ever evolving art that would eventually be named jeet kune do in 1967). The graphic embroidered on this custom jacket was designed and drawn by Bruce Lee. He used it as letterhead and for correspondence relating to his school. The woven label inside the jacket is an exact replica of the membership cards given to students. Enjoy!

I went ahead and got a size up as the sizes on this site run a bit small on me. It fits great. My sifu saw me wearing it one day and decided to get one for himself. There were a few loose strands after the first couple wears, but thats pretty par for the course when breaking in satin jackets. Clipping them with small scissors clears that up. Otherwise, Very comfortable and i highly recommend.

Lovely and very well done! I took one size up, and it's suits me perfectly (able to wear one or two thick sweater under the jacket). Sleeves are long enough for my long arms. I feel the size chart is a bit wrong (the jacket is a little bit larger than described, and that's what I needed). All the sewing is perfect, logos are perfect, and the inner layer is soft and comfortable. I mostly wear my jacket for special occasions as it is so beautiful and confy!

I have always wanted a satin jacket. What better time to get one with one of my influential figures in my life attached to it. Fits & looks great. Well made. No complaints!
