The term Jeet Kune Do was coined and put into use in 1967 by Bruce Lee in an attempt to put a name to his martial expression. Lee wrestled with putting a name to his art as he constantly veered away from any type of crystallization (and thereby limitation) of its essence, however, the simple need to refer to it in some concrete way won out and Jeet Kune Do was born.
The idea of intercepting is key to JKD, whether it be the interception of your opponents technique or his intent. The basic guiding principles are: simplicity, directness and freedom (the form of no form).
Research your own experience. Absorb what is useful. Reject what is useless. Add what is essentially your own. Bruce Lee
We're celebrating the art of Jeet Kune Do and its founder with this custom made bomber jacket featuring four patches...Core Symbol, JEET KUNE DO (in Bruce's handwriting), the Chinese characters for JKD, and the symbol for JUN FAN JEET KUNE DO (Bruce Lee's Martial Art).
On the inside, we've printed an essay by Bruce in his handwriting that documents his timeless philosophy.

nice jacket, they def run small. I usually wear an XL, (sometimes an L), but the XL I ordered was to small, so swapped it for the XXL. It fits decent

Bomber jacket is awesome! Only thing I had to say about it is I do not like the opposite side zipper like is on most woman’s apparel, but I’m getting used to it. I ordered one for my brother.
