Jun Fan Gung Fu translates to Bruce Lees Gung Fu. The Jun Fan Gung Fu Institute, Bruces first martial arts school, was opened in the 1960s in Seattle, WA where Bruce first placed his roots in the US after returning from Hong Kong. He worked at the legendary Ruby Chows, and attended the University of Washington (majoring in philosophy) prior to opening his school. Bruce would go on to open two more schools on the West Coast (Oakland & Los Angeles) passionately teaching students from all backgrounds his martial way (an ever evolving art that would eventually be named jeet kune do in 1967). The graphic embroidered on this custom hoodie was designed and drawn by Bruce Lee. He used it as letterhead and for correspondence relating to his school. The woven label inside the jacket is an exact replica of the membership cards given to students. Enjoy!

I loved the design as soon as I seen this sweater. It uses the Jun Fan Gung Fu Institute Dragons rank certificate design that Bruce created in early 1964. When I received it, I was very impressed with the quality of material used and the great job they did with the embroidery! This is by far the best sweater the Bruce Lee Store has put out. I wanted to buy two size mediums so I can wear one and have one display in my Bruce Lee museum. Unfortunately they only had one left. Hopefully they’ll restock more of this awesome hoodie!

I have wanted this Bruce Lee hoodie for a long time and I finally was able too It is well worth the wait without a doubt the most amazing hoodie out there The emboroidery is top notch and fabric is super comfy As a JKD member Bruce is one of my biggest and most influencial person next to my Mom and Dad I take his inspirstion to my passion for Music as a Pro Guitar player and Teacher Bruces'philosphy scales the World.. I’m elated about finally getting my hands on this hoody! The quality is immaculate! The embroidery & stitching are impeccable! I am proud to wear this hoody and pay homage to the godfather and master of his many crafts, Bruce Lee! This is my favorite article of clothing I own! I also got the matching hat today as well! The family brand and honor is still very much thriving and well!
